Based on the “sweat coat,” a sweatshirt-style jacket worn in 1920s America that looked simple but was built with surprisingly complex materials and construction. Taiga Takahashi reconstructs it in soft cotton with nut buttons, then garment-dyes it in natural mud for a deep brown with the subtle, uneven depth that only piece-dyeing gives.
